Abbet-vins

Christophe Abbet - Hugo Pozzo di Borgo

Grower, Maker

something

A boundless passion for a poetic vision. Three hectares of vines, thirty years of dedication, research and affection for each bunch of grapes... We produce singular wines that, with patience, transcend the ordinary to create sensitive wines that tell the unique story of the Valais terroir and climate. Our wines are distinguished by their profound philosophy of respect for the product and the land. Each plot is pampered, each vine is listened to. Although we have no certifications, our vines have been cultivated without the use of synthetic products since the 2000s, and our sensitive winemaking is carried out without filtration or oenological inputs, with the exception of So2 when necessary. It's a commitment to nature that is reflected in every sip, an ode to the soil that reveals itself in the richness of our vintages. We refuse to be constrained by convention; it's necessary to let terroir and the essence of the fruit speak for themselves. Each cuvée is a free and living composition, a harmonious blend of flavors, aromas and nuances that emerge naturally from the vine.
