At Akhmeta Wine House, we pour our passion into every drop! As proud members of the Natural Wine Association of Georgia, we've been crafting authentic, living wines since 2014. Our philosophy? Let nature lead the way! We cherish the land, the vines, and the rich biodiversity that makes each vintage unique. That’s why we’re deeply committed to organic farming and natural winemaking, ensuring every bottle tells the true story of our terroir.

Certified organic? Absolutely! 🌱 Since 2019, our vineyards have held Bio Certification, and in 2020, our wines followed suit—all verified by Caucascert, Georgia’s only organic certification body, officially recognized in the EU and Switzerland.

Nestled in a spectacular microclimate, Akhmeta benefits from three rivers—Ilto, Alazani, and Orvili—creating the perfect conditions for healthy, vibrant grapes. Our vineyards flourish at 500-550 meters above sea level, rooted in a fascinating blend of limestone, marl, and volcanic soils. Once part of PDO Kakheti, Akhmeta now shines with its very own PDO status, proudly recognized as PDO Akhmeta.

Our vines tell a story of tradition and dedication: 🍇 30-year-old Rkatsiteli thrives in the Sabero terroir along the Orvili River’s south-east bank. 🍇 Kakhetian Mtsvane flourishes between the Alazani and Orvili rivers. 🍇 Kisi, Khihvi, Saperavi & Kakhuri Mtsvivani, planted 7 years ago in Alaverdi Monastery Terroir, now yield extraordinary fruit.
