Alternative Wine and Spirits is born of the desire of two friends – sommelier Pierre-Luc Ménard and sales professional Kim Dawson – to share their passion for wine and spirits. Three other members of the Ménard family complete the team: Rita and Jean-Pierre, two veterans of the restaurant business contribute wisdom and experience while Marie-Michelle brings precision and rigor to the books. Our business philosophy is all about meeting new people, seeing new places and celebrating the work of craftsmen and artisans through the pleasures of the table. The agency is specializes in representing, promoting wines and spirits through the SAQ networks and selling private importation, especially to individual wine-lovers and to professionals from the catering and hospitality industry. Not only do we seek to find those gem-like bottles that will enchant your guests, but we can also assist you in developing a wine list or a cellar. Finally, in addition to wine and spirits, Alternative offers under the banner AWS Import, a selection of fine and festive products, such as vinegars and olive oils.
