About
Boutique winery nestled at 1200 meters above sea level on Mt. Etna. Natural approach in viticulture & vinification. I focus on making wine that showcase the characteristics of the micro climate from different Altitude. The grapes are coming from my privately owned vineyards situated from 630 meters to 1520 meters above sea. The wines are mostly named after the Altitude where the vineyards located. My annual production is around 15000 bottles. The name of the winery is Sciara , means "Lava road or passage" in the local dialet.
