Baire Wines LLC

Baire Wines is a Los Angeles, California based importer born out of a shared passion for wine between husband and wife team, Basti and Claire. After time spent living in Basti’s native Germany we were compelled to bring the wines to the US to share a bit of Heimat (German for homeland) with our community.

We represent a small and focused collection of German and Austrian producers, making exciting wines ranging in style from clean and classic to fun and chuggable.

We believe that quality wines are born in the vineyard and it’s the job of the winemaker to help them sing by stepping back rather than manipulating and trying to control the end result. Our winemakers’ wines are fermented with native yeasts, minimal to no additions of sulfur and never fined or filtered. All our producers farm following organic or biodynamic principles.

We want to bridge the gap between generations of wine drinkers. After all, the beauty of wine is the ability to bring people together to share and connect.
