Agricola Calafata is a social farming co-operative: a place for work and for development. We have two aims: preserving and cherishing the countryside as well as integrating disadvantaged and marginalised people into the labour market by encouraging their personal development. Our approach is a new farming enterprise aiming to grow excellent products by empowered workers. Calafata was born as a wine maker but soon introduced oil, honey, vegetables and many more delicious products
