something

Château de Pravins is a very old vineyard (there have been vines planted on this soil at least since 1251) located in the Beaujolais region. It is now a small family business, with a production both organic (since 2013) and biodynamic (since 2023). Originally planted with Gamay only, the vineyard is now planted with Gamay, Chardonnay and Viognier. We are moved by strong ecological convictions and since 2018, we have been implementing agroforestry practices on our parcels, planting hundreds of trees and helping the ecosystem to develop and thrive. We are locally involved in developing solidarities between growers through the association "Vignerons du vivant" that aims at encouraging best soil management practices. Our wine range includes red and white wines, rosé and crémant in different appellations: Beaujolais-Blacé, Côteaux Bourguignons and Crémant de Bourgogne.

Certified - Organic by Ecocert (2013, FR-BIO-01)
Certified - Biodynamic by Demeter (2023, FR-BIO-01-112901)
