Creek & Gully Cider is a family owned and operated Natural Cidery, and Certified Organic Farm. We make small batch craft cider made in the Traditional and Ancestral method using the 'C - Grade', or ugly fruit, from our farm. Traditionally this damaged fruit would be considered a waste product in the modern market. Our goal is to reduce the amount of food waste produced on our farm and to revitalize the use of our older varieties—some of which are grown on the oldest remaining apple trees in our community—planted by our great-great-grandparents over 115 years ago. For production we allow fermentation to start using wild yeasts and all CO2 in our ciders has been produced by yeast as a byproduct of fermentation. We bottle condition, leave everything unfined and unfiltered, and are among the first in Canada to exclusively Can-condition our ciders (this process allows the cider to ferment in the can in order to produce its own carbonation). Creek & Gully Cider is currently an entirely female identifying managed company.
