The domaine was created in 2022. I have nearly 1 hectare, very slopy, of typical cepages of Savoie : Altesse, Jacquère and Pinot Noir. All of my parcels ar certified organic. For the beginning I also buy some grapes (that i harvest myseilf) to other winemakers friends in order to increase my production : i produce aroung 8.000 bottles/year, and i don't expect to exceed 10.000 bottles a year. Small is beautiful :) I don't use any chemical product, i make a very low intervention in the cellar during the fermentations. No filtration, no nothing. No use of sulfites, except if there's a contamination in a cuve - in this case I don't use more than 20mg/L of SO2. Of course all is made by hand, especially the harvests. In 2023 i have 5 different cuvées : 2 whites, 3 reds. I also have some piquette! About me : originally from Chamonix, mountaineering addict, when I'm not in my vines/cellar I am climbing or hiking or skiing in the Alps mountains. My domaine is named "Dégaine" which means a climbing quickdraw. I work alone at my domaine, which is the price for my freedom :) I have some winemakers friends/acquaintance who aready are at Raw Wine : Etienne Fort, John from Gravillas, Pascale of la Closerie des Moussis...
