About
The „GlücksJäger“ natural wines
The „GlücksJäger“ ( german for „fortune hunter“) is a young and striving vineyard from Venningen in the Pfalz region, Germany.
All our wines are natural wines. We strictly follow an organic growing regime for our grapes and the wines are barreled mostly untreated with little adjustments during the vinification process; only 600 liter and smaller barrique barrels are used.
After manual destemming and spontaneous fermentation we prolong the rest time. The must is not racked nor do we apply any fining or filtration. We introduce as little sulfur as possible. Finally, all wines are bottled by hand directly from the barrel. We produce the following wines (all dry):
Riesling
Pinot blanc
Grüner Veltliner
Cabernet Sauvignon
Sauvignon blanc
Chardonnay
