Domaine de La Riva

I took over these vines out of passion, fascinated by cultivating and vinifying these magnificent alpine slopes of Lake Geneva. 

The vines are planted on hillside terraces on the edge of the forest, where hiking trails cross to reach the Rochers de Naye, a pre-Alps mountain composed mainly of limestone. At the summit, the panorama overlooks the Lake Geneva region.

I work the vines by hand all year round, from pruning to harvesting, cultivating as naturally as possible to encourage life.

In the cellar, the majority of the wines mature gently in old Burgundy barrels, allowing time to harmonize. 

I have chosen to vinify the wines without any additives to preserve the expression of the vintage and the place.

I guide and accompany the wines rather than create them, following my instinct and the vintage.
