We are a bio and biodynamic (Demeter) winery located on the coast of the National Park of Cilento (Italy). Our estate is right on the cape named after the helmsman of Aeneas’ ship: Capo Palinuro. We grow our grapevine in a blessed land that was chosen in the 12th century by the basilian monks to erect a monastery in small valley right on the sea. The sea influences significantly the production of our wines that are all of local variety. The monks left as an heritage also a wood furnace and a clay pit from where we have extracted clay to produce our own amphora that we use for aging some of our wines.
