Established in 1751, Fukuju Brewery, also known as KOBE SHU-SHIN-KAN BREWERIES, LTD., is a sake brewery with over 270 years of history.
Our flagship brand, Fukuju, combines time-honored craftsmanship with a spirit of innovation. We’ve earned recognition both in Japan and overseas, thanks to our strong focus on sustainability and eco-friendly sake brewing practices.
We brew sake using only the finest ingredients: Miyamizu, one of Japan’s most renowned water sources, selected as one of the 100 Exquisite Waters of Japan, and Yamada Nishiki, a premium sake rice cultivated in Hyogo Prefecture. Together with local farmers, we promote organic and sustainable agriculture to produce safe and delicious sake.
Our Fukuju Junmai Ginjo has been served at official Nobel Prize events, sharing the elegance of Japanese sake on the international stage. Its exceptional quality continues to be recognized worldwide.
All the electricity used in our sake production comes from renewable sources. We also use recyclable bottles and environmentally friendly packaging, contributing to a more sustainable and compassionate future for our planet.
