Le Grappin

We make single vineyard wines from special, under-appreciated sites in the Côte de Beaune, Mâconnais and Beaujolais. By vinifying in small lots, using old techniques and materials where possible with fermentation by indigenous yeasts, we aim to make wines of site and soul; wines with frission, purity and life. We call our approach "mindful winemaking"; as little as possible but not nothing for nothing's sake, keeping the site and the grapes front of mind in all winemaking decisions, even if that decision is to do nothing at all.
