Libre is Utrecht's new home for natural & biodynamic wines, pure sake and all other pleasures of the naturally fermented & consciously made. Libre is however, more than a bottle shop; it is an event's space, a live music venue, a tasting room and an online store. Located on the Nieuwegracht in Utrecht’s City Centre we set out to offer a bottle shop that is permanent; a refuge in the city for enjoyment, for conversation and for discovery. Libre means free - not only is the entire selection of wine and sake free of manipulation, but it is free to fully express. Our cellar mirrors this ethos; it is a hub for the community, a celebration of slow food, artisanal winemaking and friendships. While we are still in the midst of an overhaul, we are so excited to continue sharing our progress with you over the course of the next few weeks. We accept that good things take time, but are so eager to open our doors as soon as possible. We’re so proud to finally have a home to showcase the work of these incredible winemakers. We will offer an ever evolving list of new cuvées, new winemakers and new vintages. Stay tuned for developments!
