Lomita Winery

Established in 2004 in Valle de Guadalupe, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.

With 15 acres in Lomita property (ejido san marcos/el porvenir) and organic certification by ccof since 2018 (Second one in the country). We produce 5,000 cases in total between 8 different labels.

We have one label called Lomita Natural that is our 100% organic certified wine (Second one in the country). That we respect the native yeast, no corrections, no sulfites, not filtered and the only intervention are pump overs and controlled temp fermentation. Dry farmed Carignan 45 yrs old and 20 yr old Tempranillo and Syrah. (60CA/20TMP/20SY)

Our idea is that we and the mexican wine industry have to keep focusing in the importance of the soil/agricultural part of winemaking while keeping in also the focus in the control of the processes (cleanliness, efficient work, using technology) to maintain quality and sense of place of the wines we produce.
