Luca Bambara

Luca Bambara, a Québécois with Sicilian roots, has gone back to his ancestral land to chase a dream: crafting his vision of true Sicilian wines. Prioritizing indigenous grapes and embracing low intervention winemaking practices, he aims to showcase a genuine expression of the island.

Luca collaborates with small-scale farmers to source the best grapes from old vines across Sicily. All of the grapes are organically grown and carefully hand harvested. The wines are fermented with indigenous yeasts and vinified with very little sulfites. This minimal yet precise approach to winemaking ensures pure, high-quality wines. Each cuvée is the expression of a region, its terroir and its grape varietals.

"Isola dei Lupi" IGP Terre Siciliane is a reimagined Nero d'Avola from Pachino that balances the storied intensity of the grape with an unexpected freshness. This is not your typical Nero d'Avola; it's a vibrant, fresh and spirited incarnation that Luca affectionately calls "Pachino Nouveau”.

"Vecchio Mediterraneo" IGP Terre Sicilian is a white maceration wine crafted from the indigenous Catarratto grape. This wine encapsulates the languid heat of a Sicilian afternoon and the gentle Mediterranean breeze, resulting in a gastronomic wine that's both rich in character and elegantly salient.
