Mas del Périé

WELCOME TO THE CADURCIEN REGION
Fabien JOUVES comes from an old farming family in the Causse. He became a winemaker in 2006, creating Mas del Périé on the highest slopes of Cahors and has become one of the best references of the Cahors appellation.

Malbec (Cot) is the king grape variety. Given the estate's location at the junction of the Quercy and Cahors terroirs, parcel selection was the obvious way to express the different facets of Malbec. This expression of terroir is reinforced by biodynamic agriculture, which respects life, plants, people and the environment.

The grapes are vinified in the cellar naturally, without oenological inputs, and the wine is matured in concrete vats, barrels, foudres and amphoras, according to its personality. They are as pure as they can be, fresh and a perfect expression of the terroir!
