Podere Pisani di Vesentini Emilio

something

Podere Pisani is located in the morainic hills just south of the Garda lake. Soils here are mainly formed of sand/gravel and hills have limited elevation around 150/200m asl. The total extension of our farm is about 4.0ha, of which abt 2.5ha are vineyards, with a mix of vines from the early '70s and some more recent ones that are about 10 years old. The rest is a small olive grove and woods. We decided early on that biodynamic farming was our method of choice, so our focus is to increase soil fertility throgh the use of green manure, compost and biodynamic preparations.

Our philosophy is to continuosly research for improved practices in order to improve the quality of our grapes so that we can have a minimal intervention policy in the cellar. We strive to produce jucy, crunchy fruit and to convey the same into our wines. We learn something new from our vines in every vintage. As we like to say we grow with them.

Podere Pisani and all its wines are certified organic since vintage 2023.

We believe our wines are an original, sincere and brilliant representation of this unique terroir.

All the wines we are producing are unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfites use. Stainless steel only aging vat.
