About
We are Hannes & Carmen - brother & sister. We grew up on this small winery in the Eisacktal, Südtirol / Valle Isarco, Alto Adige. Here, where the vineyards have a view of the mountains, we feel grounded. Even if our parents' path in the vineyard and in the cellar was different, we have the chance today to develop the winery in a future-oriented direction. We trust in nature and in the support our family & friends. Between 500 and 880 m above sea level we are allowed to work on steep 2.5 hectares with vitis vinifera (Sylvaner, Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, Gewürztraminer & Zweigelt) and PIWIs. We allow nature to express herself. This gives us energy and balance.

- Not all grapes are dry-farmed. Some are irrigated (After the hot summer of 2003, our father planned drip irrigation in all our vineyards. Quartz phillite is extremely permeable to water and, if necessary, young vins are irrigated with it. In the hot summer of 2022, we were also relieved to have the option of irrigation, otherwise we don't use it.).
