This grower-maker grows all their own grapes.
- Size of their farm: 13 (ha)
- Size of farm under vine: 8 (ha)
- Not all grapes are dry-farmed. Some are irrigated (We irrigate only 2 blocks of our vineyards (a total of 1.5ha) that are located by the river. The terroir is characterized as very stone dense, and therefore the soil is more sensitive to the heat and becoming dryer, faster. We only do reactive irrigation, meaning that we do not irrigate to produce more grapes; simply to maintain the health of the vines. We installed this ‘drop’ irrigation system only a few weeks ago. ‘Drop’ meaning the irrigation system waters the vines drop by drop to manage water consumption).
- All grapes are harvested manually.
