The Massimo Coletti winery is located at the feet of the Prealps of Treviso, in the Veneto region on a beautiful terroir of morainic origin. It is currently made up of 4 hectares in the comunes of San Fior, Colle Umberto and Osigo. We have a variety of different terroirs, with vineyards ranging from the mountain side to the Venetian planes.
Each vineyard is dedicated to the production of a specific wine. This allows each terroir to express its own characteristics and true individuality. All our wines are thus the purest reflexion of a specific terroir.
The work in the vines and respect of the environment are the basis of our daily work. We follow the principles of organic agriculture without using chemicals, hebicides or synthetic products in our vineyards. The hours we spend in our vines with manual work and bringing vitality to our soils are the secrets to the quality of our wines. The harvests are completly hand picked. In the wine cellar, we follow the work carried out in the vines with natural vinifications and long maturations with yiests to garantee a natural stability to the wines and a low use of sulfur.
We produce a wide palette of sparklings wines “maturati su lieviti”, according to the traditional method of the Vini Col Fondo. This is a local tradition wine making method, with a natural rifermentation of the wine in the bottle, due to their natural yeasts.
The ColFondo wines, matured with their indigenous yeasts are the best expression of their terroir, and also allow the wines to age well.
