Malandrín Wines is a small artisan winery, located in Olivares de Duero (Valladolid). It is the personal project of Roberto Martínez Ramos where we create about 12,000 bottles/year. We mainly make white wines, in which we use Godello and Verdejo, from very old vines, over 80 years old, and for the production of our red wines, the varieties we use are Tempranillo and Juan García, all of them from the Duero region. . We believe in a clean and sustainable viticulture, that is why we work our vineyards without pesticides, we also work with viticulturists who follow this philosophy. Our idea is that with healthy grapes of the best quality, we can create unique and different wines. At the winery we respect the grape varieties we work with as much as possible, and we try to ensure that each one expresses itself as it is. All the fermentations of the wines in the winery are carried out by the yeasts that the grapes bring from the vineyard. We believe that this is our greatest strength, since this is how we manage to create unique wines. At the winery we are also very respectful of the quality of the wine, which is why we use the lowest doses of sulfur that allow us to guarantee the quality we desire and also to guarantee the conservation of the wines. All our wines are closed with a natural cork stopper, for us it is a commitment to the cork oaks of the provinces of Zamora and Salamanca, in addition to the fact that these natural corks allow the evolution of the wines. In the cellar we have different fermentation and aging containers, such as concrete, tinaja (clay), stainless steel, oak and acacia wood.
