Vinum USA, Inc. is a NJ based company pioneering a diverse import portfolio of authentic wines from Central and Southeastern Europe, with a foundational focus in Croatia and Slovenia. The wines we import showcase this special terroir and stand out as uniquely specific to their origin. This small part of Central Europe between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea packs a variety of cultures, culinary traditions and distinct microclimates which produce authentic wines from a wide variety of indigenous grapes. The wines we select speak for the indigenous grapes and winemaking traditions of the region through the diligent care of our producers tending these vineyards. We strive to find healthy vineyards of vivacity and grapes of purity through organic and biodynamic farming that are grown to their most authentic form to express terroir and balance in their wines. Hand-harvested and vinified with a hands-off approach in the cellar, our wines undergo minimal manipulation from the vine to the bottle. We believe that natural fermentations result in wines with more character, complexity, and authentic expression. As in all aspects in life, we embrace balance. We are excited about the revival of ancient winemaking techniques, while also valuing modern technology.
