Wilkie Wines are handmade by Tom Morrison and paired with paintings by Kate Lewis, two cousins linked by their Grandma, Wilkie. On a little hill overlooking Bacchus Marsh in Victoria, the small-batch wines come to life. Thoughtfully grown grapes are delicately handled to create wines with texture, brightness and intrigue. Carefully nurtured wild yeast and bacteria are relied upon for naturally occurring fermentations to add to the wines' complexities. The wines range from fun, fresh, drink-now numbers to serious and complex wines that took time and patience to create.

This grower-maker farms some of their grapes themselves and buys-in others.
  • Information on grapes they farm
  • Size of their farm: 2 (ha)
  • Size of farm under vine: 1 (ha)
  • Not all grapes are dry-farmed. Some are irrigated (I only irrigate when it is absolutely necessary. In the first 3 years of management I did not use irrigation at all and the vines suffered too much in the peak of the heat of the season (even though we're in a cool climate region), so this year (2024-25) is the first season that I have used a small amount of irrigation to save the vines during a heatwave.).
  • All grapes are harvested manually.
